Google to pay 90 million in click fraud suit

As reported by Reuters, Google said that it had agreed to pay up to a staggering USD90 mil due to a class lawsuit against google. This is due to adversiting click fraud in which Google's adwords ads were targeted for click fraud. The advertisers should not have been charged for these fraud however, somehow, google wasn't able to completely eradicate click fraud which costs these advertisers their marketing budget.

The lawsuit came from Lane's Gifts in Arkansas state court. The said $90mil would be for legal fees and credits of the advertisers pay-per-click accounts.
